How does it feel to be in a world where you do not understand the language spoken by others and no one understands what you are trying to convey? Autism is a disorder that very much resembles this situation, possibly paired with many other physiological, neurological, and sensory issues. It is a spectrum disorder, in which each person on the Autism Spectrum faces a different set of challenges, such as difficulty speaking, difficulty socializing, motor skill and sensory issues, and more.
Sarth Buch, now 18, is a young adult on the autism spectrum who was diagnosed at the age of 3.5 years. Since his diagnosis, Sarth has been receiving therapies and treatments to overcome various issues and deficits. He received his education from The Rewachand Bhojwani Academy, an inclusive school in Pune. From a very young age, Sarth has been inclined towards music and has learned Indian classical vocal from Guru Smt. Sharvari Lele for around ten years and Sugam Sangeet from Guru Shri Nayan Pancholi. Additionally, Sarth is learning Tabla from Guru Shri Manoj Chandekar and has recently started learning guitar.
Sarth's dedication to music is evident as he has cleared Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya’s Madhyama Pratham levels for both vocal and Tabla. His talent has led him to perform at many prestigious events, earning awards and appreciation. Academically, Sarth has shown remarkable achievement, clearing his 12th-grade examination with 87% from the National Institute of Open Schooling.
Beyond music and academics, Sarth has been interested in a wide range of activities while growing up, including swimming, skating, skateboarding, cycling, computers, dancing, and traveling. His diverse interests and talents showcase his versatility and determination.
Sarth aspires to continue learning music and computers, with the goal of becoming an independent and contributing member of society. His journey is a testament to his resilience and the supportive environment that has nurtured his talents and abilities.
