Punjabi-Canadian Rapper Shubh Under Scrutiny Over Alleged Indira Gandhi Assassination Hoodie Promotion

Punjabi-Canadian rapper Shubhneet Singh, known by his stage name Shubh, finds himself embroiled in a controversy following a recent live show. Viral videos and photos from the event have ignited claims that Shubh was endorsing a hoodie that depicted the assassination of former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi by Satwant and Beant Singh.

The incident allegedly occurred during Shubh's live performance in London on October 29, 2023. As of now, neither Shubh nor his team has issued a statement regarding these allegations. Meanwhile, on social media, reactions have been mixed, with some suggesting that Shubh may be lacking in political awareness, while others have reserved judgment.

It's worth noting that the authenticity of the videos has not been independently verified. Shubh had previously made headlines when his "Still Rollin India" tour was canceled due to allegations of support for the Khalistan cause. At that time, he expressed his disappointment over the tour's cancellation via an Instagram statement.
